White sand, gravel and water of an intense blue which, together with the wonderful setting and the typical vegetation of the Costa Blanca, results in a place of huge natural beauty, with all the charms required for a perfect family day at the beach.
Abahana - Views of the island of Portixol in Javea.
Portitxol Cove is located in the borough of Jávea, between "Cap Negre" and "Cap Prim".
It is a cove of white sand, pebbles and rock. The water is an intense turquoise, fairly deep and with the clarity and quality making it perfect for such watersports as diving, snorkelling or canoeing.
Directly offshore is "Portitxol Island", a 300-metre-long island of considerable botanical and archaeological interest, with arches in the depths, a potential spot for divers to discover the fascinating marine life on the seabed.
It should be pointed out that although this is a small Mediterranean cove it does have a number of amenities, including a lively beach bar, car park, sun lounger and canoe rental, the perfect spot to spend a day with the family without the crowds typically found on larger beaches.

More than the end of summer, September is its friendliest form. On the Costa Blanca, the beaches calm down, the towns breathe, and life slows down for those who know how to savor the days at a different pace. Here, the Mediterranean is experienced with a depth that only the silence and golden light of September can offer.
They say there are places you never forget, places that remain untouched in your memory no matter how many summers go by. El Portet is one of those corners. A small bay in Moraira where time seems to stand still, where the sea continues to embrace the shore with the same tenderness as always, and the Peñón, unyielding, keeps greeting those who arrive barefoot.
