10 minutes on foot from the "Mirador de la Cruz" lookout, it is well worth the walk to enjoy a swim in this little cove which, even in August, is practically deserted.

It is an unspoiled cove located on the northern side of "Cap Prim" in Jávea. It is made up of gravel and rock, and appropriate footwear is therefore recommended in order to avoid potential accidents.

Sardinera Cove offers crystal-clear waters of turquoise blue for a refreshing dip while enjoying the unrivalled views of San Antonio Cape and the Bay of Jávea. Snorkelling is very popular here, allowing swimmers to observe all manner of marine life so typical of the area around San Antonio Cape.

This was previously considered the best spot for the fine sardine nets which would be spread twice a day, at sunrise and sunset, hence its name.
