La Olla beach

One of the favourite beaches with visitors and locals alike, offering a view of the small island which shares its name with the beach: Isla de Olla with the imposing Peñón de Ifach in Calpe as its backdrop.

La Olla beach, which measures almost a kilometre in length, is just a few kilometres from the town centre of Altea, one of the focal points of the Marina Baixa district and home to a number of the landmarks of the Costa Blanca: the Peñón of Ifach in Calpe and La Illeta, the sight of the spectacular Castell de l’Olla, which further heightens the sculpted, natural beauty of the place.

One key feature of the beach is the well-tended and clean facilities, along with relatively calm water of excellent quality and clarity, allowing for such sporting pursuits as diving, to take in the sights of the seabed, or kitesurfing and windsurfing, thanks to the moderate wave conditions.

Another notable feature is the high level of amenities offered by La Olla beach, with lifeguards, beach cleaning and security, along with such facilities as toilets, car parking, etc.

It is unquestionably one of the most enchanting beaches of Altea, where a fun day at the beach is guaranteed.
