"Pastissería La Purísima" has for years been under the stewardship of a charming team of sisters who dedicate all their effort and love of fine patisserie to showcasing the very best regional desserts.

For some years now, and for more to come we trust, the ovens of "La Puríssima" in the town of Benissa have been producing the region's most typical pastries such as "pastissos de boniato" (sweet potato cakes), "pà cremat" (orange buns), "pan de calatrava" (bread pudding), "coca de carabassa" (pumpkin cake) and many others, along with such traditional savouries as pea, spinach, tomato or tuna pasties, and the classic "cocas de mullaor o anchoa" (roast vegetable or anchovy tarts).

An establishment which is always a pleasure to visit, not only because of the quality of the produce but also the friendly owners, who will be delighted to advise you on whatever morsels might take your fancy.
