The beach itself is extensive, beginning at the Old Town of Benidorm, allowing visitors to enjoy long strolls, including a trip to the Mediterranean Balcony.
The amenities include the "seaside library", for those wishing to read a book while sunbathing, an area for disabled people with access to the sea, and another with water-based activities, such as pedalos, an inflatables zone… everything you could imagine.
There are also distinctive and brightly-coloured huts used variously as public toilets, foot washes and sun lounger and parasol rental.
Out at sea, meanwhile, there are floating platforms for swimmers with slides and attractions to be enjoyed by everyone, for the ultimate day at the beach. It should be pointed out that the bathing area is marked off by yellow buoys beyond which swimmers must not venture, while boats and jetskis are not allowed to approach the shoreline in order to avoid accidents.
It would be fair to say that the Playa de Levante in Benidorm is the liveliest in the area, with the promenade running alongside proving a real benefit. Here you will find numerous bars which remain open in the morning as cafes, along with other premises which at night put on musical and dance shows.
