The El Arenal district of Jávea is unquestionably one of the main focal points for tourism. Playa del Arenal, located right in the heart of the Bay of Jávea, is the main focal point for tourism and the most popular beach with bathers, thanks to the quality of the water, which is shallow and an intense turquoise in colour.
It is fringed by a long promenade with an outstanding culinary and leisure offering, while over recent years it has undergone particular expansion through the rise of tourism, making a visit here an unmissable experience which you will undoubtedly want to repeat.
It matters little what time of the day you visit: in the morning you could opt for a refreshing dip in the sea, followed up by Valencia's traditional paella, or fish caught in the Bay of Jávea at one of the delightful restaurants. Another option would be a pleasant stroll in the evening, to take in the landscape and the beautiful sunset in the background, stopping off for a little something at the terrace of one of the numerous bars, or taking the time to peruse the hippie stalls selling all manner of arts and crafts. Lastly, but no less appealingly, at night it is the perfect place for a drink, El Arenal boasting a wonderful atmosphere with truly chic bars and nightclubs, bohemian watering holes with their chill-out music… everything to ensure that a night out at El Arenal is a completely unforgettable experience.
