La Solsida is a small, semi-wild beach located in the north of the borough of Altea.
The crystal-clear water is perfect for a pleasant dip or an exploration of the intriguing seabed, and is also a particularly popular beach with nudists, as the practice is permitted here.
Given its composition and relatively difficult access it is far from busy, even in the hottest months of the summer, allowing bathers to feel they are the first to set foot in this delightful spot. Access is via a path which runs along the foot of high cliffs.
The views are incredible, a real treat which is further heightened if you wait for sunset or sunrise, a natural splendour well worth a visit.
It should be pointed out that the Cala de La Solsida is a small cove without any amenities, showers or restaurants, making it instead the perfect spot to escape from the bustle of bigger beaches.
