El Azahar, a villa, several experiences…The property, a real architecture piece, there are three buildings with a tasty mixture of white and artificial stone. This spectacular villa represents the extreme elegance through the quality of each room, the comfort thanks to the used materials that have been carefully selected until the smallest details as well as the natural contact with the environment, a privileged combination of sea and mountain.
LAY OUT: The main building has four levels. On the ground floor there are four bedrooms, three comfortable suites all of them with a double bed, a bathroom and a private terrace with views to the garden, the Mediterranean pines offer us a delicious perfume. A very private atmosphere that invite us to relax and to rest.
Along the corridor where we will have several pictures, we arrive to an open space that offers panoramic views of the terrace and of the swimming pool. The room which is slightly under that level has a fully equipped kitchen, a library, a living room, a double bedroom with views over the swimming pool and a bathroom. The bath is made of stone and invites us to have a relaxing bath on it.
Outside we have the private swimming pool (18 meters long), its armchairs and its informal bar, perfect for sharing a fresh drink, a breakfast or dinner. We are away from the strong sun thanks to a very big shale shade that gives a real sailing feeling in a perfect contact with the Mediterranean views and the slightly hilly environment of Altea. On a lower floor (from the pool ) there is a building made for physical exercises and sports with a gym, a steam bath as well as a petanque game area.
On the first floor there is a living room, eating room and an American kitchen. A big open space with big windows that allow us to enjoy the feeling of being between inside and outside of the building at the same time. An amazing fire place garnishes a stone wall. On this level there is also a pergola where there is a table and some chairs to share with the guests in a very selected and exclusive atmosphere. The most peculiar characteristic of El Azahar can be its perpetual creativity. Every shared lunch is an opportunity of new decoration with its delicate plates wedding, colours and smelling, to offer the guests a special surprise, the discovering and the daily renovation of such moment that suddenly turns into a banquet.
The second and last floor is dedicated to the master ensuite bedroom. Built with the best materials, its a mixture of luxury, comfort and absolute relax. A completely open space, from the bath we have the most incredible sea views. The terrace has a chill-out space with a fire place and an annex open kitchen perfect for making fresh drinks and snacks.
On the bottom floor we will find a spacious parking, a cold room and a kitchen for us to cook without the disgusting smells of some products.
The third floor is the fairy of the house. Christine, protector of this charming place, she will help you and will make sure that your stay at El Azahar will be unforgettable. Catering, concierge, and any necessity . Just leave magic works…
EXTERIOR: El Azahar is placed between the sea and the mountains. The views are simply spectacular and the villa is surrounded by several green areas that gives us a direct contact with the existing nature. There are several outside areas such as the covered terrace with a marvellous 18 x 4 metres private swimming pool and their lovely bearings where we can sunbathe, a covered chill-out area with lights with a very comfortable white sofa as well as a table for having meals in front of the sea, another covered terrace and an outside kitchen where there are some more white sofas, sunbeds and an exterior fire place. The plot is huge, we will find several Mediterranean trees such as olive trees, pines and palm trees. On another level of the property there is a bar by another outside table.
BE AWARE OF the swimming pool that can be dangerous for children as some borders do not have any protection.
LOCATION: The property is located in an excellent spot where we will enjoy the silence and peace being surrounded by nature between Calpe and Altea where we can go in a short time. It is only 8 minutes driving to the beaches of Altea where there are several bars on the sea shore, some nautical clubs; Just 12 minutes driving to the lovely Altea old town centre where there are very well known restaurants and the Altea harbour (the fishing and the sportive Marina Greenwich port). Calpe is about 15 minutes driving far from the house where we can enjoy at its big sandy beaches and where there are many places where we can have fun and enjoy.
