This is a fine, sandy beach with clean, calm waters, in a natural setting rich in the posidonia seagrass for which the seabed here is famous.
La Fustera, in Benissa, is equipped with all amenities beachgoers could require, and in the summer season has a Red Cross service, hammock rental, bar and children's games.
It should also be mentioned that the beach has been awarded a number of environmental badges, including the Beach Quality Blue Flag of the European Union Ecoplayas Award.
Just a few metres away is the "Casa dels Cents Vents", which houses Tourist Info Benissa Playa, the local advice office, a police post and the Aula de la Mar, an educational facility giving environmental awareness classes.
