Cap d ‘Or provides the perfect shelter for Playa del Portet, a beach of fine sand and rock, and crystal-clear waters.
Small and horseshoe-shaped, it is one of the most attractive in Moraira, a wonderful setting for a peaceful dip in the sea, or any number of watersports, including sailing, kayaking, paddle surfing or diving, as the clarity of the water makes for unimpeded views of the wonderful seabed.
It should also be mentioned that this landmark beach also marks the starting point of an enjoyable hiking route, running from the Cap d'Or watchtower with its spectacular views of the whole coastline to the majestic Peñón de Ifach in Calpe.
