A charming beach in Benissa of fine sand surrounded by pine trees and very calm waters which, together with the beach bar, make it the perfect spot to spend a summer's day… a real paradise on this stretch of the Mediterranean
Cala El Soyo
A small cove in the village of Altea comprising a distinctive black rock and calm waters for a sunny day by the sea, enjoying the mild climate of Spain's Eastern Mediterranean coast.
This semi-urban cove lies between the small port in the district of L’Olla and Cap Negret in Altea.
It is made up of pebbles and rocks and is some 25 metres long, with delightful views stretching from Peñón de Ifach in Calpe as far as Punta Bombarda.
In the summer season it has a Red Cross post, lifeguards, police post, car park and a few restaurants serving refreshments.
Cala El Soyo is far from busy and banks of seaweed occasionally build up, moderating the impact of the waves, all of which makes the cove a sure spot in which to find a little peace and quiet.
